Nice but deeper pockets needed
I would love these pants if all of the pockets were an inch longer so my cellphone, wallet and keys would stay securely inside the pockets. I do appreciate the length of the pants for people with longer legs and they are quite comfortable.

Could be better
I am a small petite and these pants are too long by 1-2 inches. In the past a petite at LL Bean has been sized correctly. I have turned the hem and the fabric is so stiff that I wore them that way without stitching. I also cut off the strings in the waistband. They are not needed and a lot of cost could be saved by getting rid of this feature. Let's face it, most people have enough of a belly to keep pants on without cinching the waist when an elastic waistband is included.

Thumbs up, but oops on the too short pockets!
I really, really like these rip-stop pants. Very comfortable. But one major complaint (that I deal with because I like them so much), the pockets are too, too, short. heavy things like a jacknife easily slide out when sitting. Oops! is this so we stay more active??! 'no sitting' built right into our favorite clothes?!

I live in these pants!
I love these pants! I have two pairs in two sizes and colors (for when I'm up a few pounds). They are cooler than jeans, are not clingy so they hide bulges, but slim enough to look good. Tough material but comfortable. I cut off the drawstring on the smaller size. They run large -- I never wear XS in other pants (and usually M), but can get into these when I'm on the low side of my weight range.

Why are these Delicate wash only?
Just as I've written about the Vista pants, why do pants designed for hiking, walking and other outside activities need to be washed on Delicate cycle? The fit is good and they seem to be well-made (I haven't bought these before) but I wish I had noticed the washing requirements before ordering.

My second pair
I ordered these after having another in a different color. I find them very useful for travel with multiple pockets and a elastic waist. This time I ordered the Carbon Navy color which I thought from the website and the name would be like Navy bluBlue but it's more like dark gray, no blue at all. One other oddity, at least in my size, Petite Small, the butt area seems small (and I'm someone with a small butt) in both pairs I own. Picture provided to show color.

Ripcord slacks
The slacks were very nice. Loved the style and the material. All L.L. Bean clothing is above many others in quality. I have a plaid shirt I purchased as a flannel yet seemed more cotton. That may have been 15+ years ago and I have worn and washed more than I can guess. Still wearing and not a button has had to be sewn back on or replaced. Back to ripcord slacks. I ordered petite because I am 5'4" and length is a problem due to being a plus size. These slacks when pulling up were too short between crotch and waist. This is why I returned.

Nice casual summer pants
The fabric is very nice and should be comfortable in warm weather. I gave these pants 3 stars because I bought 2 pair and one is about an inch shorter so not consistent in construction. I also find them a little tight from waist to crotch when sitting down. I bought XS and am 120lbs. 5'3" Otherwise they are comfortable.

Pull-on Ripstock Pants
These are very nice pants, smooth, a bit stretchy through the waist and thighs a bit slimmer than I like through the calves. There are several pockets, three are 'patch' pockets secured with snaps and two side pockets as well as a faux 'fly'.

Love the stretch and the pockets
I love just about everything about these pants: excellent fabric, primarily natural content, plenty of pockets, easy on and off, great colors (love the deep olive). If I had any suggestion, it would be to make the rear a bit roomier so the waist wouldn't pull down as much when seated; it's not bad but could be better. I have bought 5 pair of these so far and likely will buy more
