Ultralight, ultrawarm--we made these gloves with lightweight PrimaLoft insulation, so they're perfect for walking the dog on chilly days or hitting the snowshoe trails.

Primaloft gloves
I sure do love these gloves. My hand measurement is a size medium on the chart, but I have sort of short fingers. I gambled on the size small and am so pleased that they fit perfectly. Anything with Primaloft is great to me.

Best for Borderline Temps & Driving
These gloves fit very well, but are not very warm. I bought them to replace my old driving gloves, and to wear on bus duty where I need to be able to use a clipboard and pen (so bulky gloves just don't work)... They are warmer than my old driving gloves, but on dog walks with temps in the teens & 20's, my hands still got cold. Also, it is advertised that they work with touch screens, but they really don't.... They have maybe a 70% chance of working with a swiping motion, but a simple touch motion (as in pushing a button) doesn't work at all..... which means that you cannot select anything on a touch screen, and you certainly can't text. LL Bean, these gloves aren't bad for borderline temps and driving, but PLEASE work on your touchscreen compatibility!!

Would be great except . . .
These would be awesome gloves -- they're comfortable and warm -- except for the shoddy construction. The stitching started coming loose within a week.
The stitching was a definitely warning sign since this was not my first go-round with these gloves. I purchased them from LL Bean several years ago and had the same problem with those. First the stitching comes loose and then the finger seams split open. Based on all the recent high reviews, I thought LL Bean had corrected these issues. Apparently not.
Not the quality product one would expect from LL Bean. Not worth $49.95 when they start falling apart immediately.

Great Little Gloves
I have always had a problem with painfully cold finger tips in the winter. I won’t say that these gloves solved the issue 100% (only heated gloves would do that) but they’re the best ones I’ve ever had. Another thing I like about them is that they’re so light in weight. The tightness of other gloves helped to limit the circulation in my hands which just made them colder. I don’t have that problem with these gloves. It has been in the single digits and very windy where I live. Taking the dogs out was a painful experience! These gloves have really been a blessing.

Making Sure I Don’t Lose These
I purchased these gloves after I had lost a similar pair. The pair I lost were a size medium and they were a little big so I bought these in Small. I’m very pleased with them: they fit well and are very warm. They’re also not bulky and have a nice look.

Very warm
I borrowed my sister’s size small gloves for my trip to Alaska and loved them. I have arthritis in my hands, and they were a little hard to get on. I ordered a size medium, and they’re a little long in the fingers, but work just as well.

Surprisingly warm!
I am pleasantly surprise by these gloves. They are really thin, but oh so warm. Great for packing. I wouldn't ski in them since I don't think they have the insulation for those kind of temperatures. They are great for everyday running errands and walking the dog. The size guide helped me measure them out and I went just a hair bigger. I have no regrets.

too slick to handle!
too slick! My hands slip off the steering wheel in the car, and other things are difficult because of the slick nature of these gloves. I cannot open/tie shut the dog poo bag :(. They are large enough that I can wear another pair of close fitting gloves underneath and remove the outer layer if need be.
