Gaping armholes
This vest appeared to be of good quality. I liked the fabric and its appearance. However, like some other reviewers, I found that the fit was not quite right for me as there were unsightly gaps at the armholes. I am returning my order.

It’s OK
Vest Is warm and well-constructed, pockets large enough to hold iPhone securely, and zipper appears constructed to last. However, the color selection is uninteresting. The problem is that it adds undue bulk and is unflattering. This is the company’s replacement for a much nicer version it offered 5 or so years ago: it had softer fleece and more graceful styling and fit.

The fit is good, the length is right, the blue color is pretty and the construction is quality.
I leave my thermostat at 63* in the winter, so a vest is what I need in the house. At first I thought the armholes were a bit too big, but as soon as I put on a shirt over my t shirt and under the vest, that extra room makes sense. I have washed is in cold water, gentle, hang to dry, and it came out very nicely. I am a bit wider in the shoulders than most ladies my height and weight, so I ordered the L and like the little bit of extra room across my back and chest.

Petite sizes are better for short women.

Cozy and warm
I bought the XL first and returned for L..which is still large, but doable. I like the weight of this vest, but it is boxy and longer than I like even with the tightening ability in the hem. The faux waist is also high, which is odd, since it’s not really a waist, but a design detail to give the illusion of shape. if you are (blessed/cursed) with full breasts, LLB can be a challenging fit. I’d like to see a bit more fit in the Bean brand. Now after saying all this, this is a garment that will get plenty of wear.

Perfect Fleece Vest
I love this vest! The cut and fit are excellent. The fleece is soft. The leather tabs on the zippers add a nice aesthetic touch and make it much easier to open pockets with gloves or cold hands. It’s perfect for keeping your torso warm when a jacket would be too much. The quality is top notch. This vest is indispensable.
