Comfy, but shedding! Review vs Windproof fleece
I bought this fleece to compare to the LL Bean Mountain Classic Windproof Fleece Jacket Women's Plus and my current LL Bean sweater fleece. I am plus sized, 18-22, 2x.
This fleece isn't great for layering as it is very thick (versus thinner Windproof fleece), but good for wearing on its on own. It is quite warm and comfortable. It hits right at the hip for me (I'm 5'4.5" tall) versus the Windproof Fleece, which is longer. I went with this fleece instead of Windproof Fleece specifically because it has a much better fit, the Windproof Fleece had longer sleeves and awkward chest/waist fit. I love my LL Bean sweater fleece, but just wanted another style.
The reason this fleece is getting 3 stars instead of 5 is specifically due to the shedding issue. I washed it once before departing on my trip. It filled the lint trap, but still is shedding all over, creating balls of black fleece. I also purchased the LL Bean Stonington Crossbody purse and it was absolutely covered in black fleece balls after a day of flying. I had a lint roller with me and used 18 sheets and it is still coming off. Definitely wash & dry it numerous times before wearing and test it out with the shirt and bag you plan to wear with it.

Loved the first one, so purchased a second
Five years ago I purchased this jacket in grey and am still wearing it regularly both at home and when I go out. It's very cozy and doesn't show wear. Now I've added the new medium green one ... still top quality and a great choice for both winter and spring in New England.

Love the color and the petite sizing
Color is nice. Not a fan of color/material of zipper pulls or the toggle pulls. I removed the zipper pulls and the logo, as I like a monochromatic look. I prefer your sweater fleece style, but not the colors in petite right now. I bought this jacket for the color & fit, not the style. Please offer more colors in sweater fleece petites! Navy sweater fleece would have earned you 5 stars.

Cool weather fleece jacket
I like this jacket very, it's soft and warm enough for fall into winter temps. The color I chose is a pinkish/lavender which I think is beautiful. Pockets are zippered and big enough to contain a cellphone, pretty much the perfect cool weather jacket!

Autumn in New England
This fleece jacket is perfect for Autumn in New England. It keeps out the 50 degree weather and looks and feels nice. It is true to size and is easy on; also the zippered pockets are generous so my cell phone fits in nicely. Another plus...it will fit under my winter long parka for extra warmth. I got a Plus size 1X; I'm 5'4" 170+.

Purchased recently. Wearing almost every day since i received it. So warm and wear it in the house and can lower the temperature with heating. As always well made, LOVE THE ZIPPERED POCKETS). Heavier fleece for colder Fall days
I was originally disappointed as I mistakenly thought I was ordering the lightweight fleece. This is a heavier fleece, which has actually proved very useful on colder Fall days. Glad I kept it although I still need a lightweight fleece to wear indoors in the winter or when the weather is slightly cool. I took off a star as I usually don't buy clothes with the name-brand on the chest.

'Good quality'
I didn't give it a five star rating and say 'great' because I have been buying from LLBean for MANY years so I compare. Although I think this is good quality, I compare it to purchases in the past when the fabric was much thicker for a 'Mountain Fleece Jacket'. This is more of a 'mid/light weight' fleece.
