Another great coat.
Super comfortable. Great at keeping me warm on cooler days. Good at repelling light rain, though, I'm not sure about heavy rain. The big pocket in the front can hold a lot of stuff, but can look a little odd if you do carry a lot of things or put big items in it. Overall, I love it.

Very cute and warm but...
This jacket is adorable and makes anyone look great! I love how you can tighten the bottom to have it more fit around your waist. The only downside I find is that it's very hard to pull over your head, but once I get it on it's fits perfectly and the next size up would be too big/loose. But overall, this jacket is amazing, warm, and cute.

Needs zippers
I like this Anorak. It is comfortable and I like both the zipper and kangaroo pockets. However, its very difficult to get on and off. I have another one from a different retailer that has zippers at the bottom on each side which makes it easy to put on and take off. I'd recommend this on future versions of this Anorak.

Protection from Autumn’s Raw Cold
My husband continually raves about his insulated anorak. I had to buy one to see what it was all about. I too have fallen in love with this coat. Autumn in the northeast can be bone chilling. I have never felt as warm and protected from that raw dampness. I get it now. By the way, the pouch is perfect for your phone or biscuits for your dog! I love it.

Perfect for camping
I love this jacket! It’s perfect as an extra layer to put on at night when camping. I also took it backpacking and being able to fold it into the outer pocket was great because I could pack it in my backpack easy. I’m very satisfied with my purchase and this jacket will always come with me on camping trips!

Excellent Anorak !
Totally love this product.
This is a wonderful jacket for all seasons ! Bought a larger size so it can be worn with layers underneath. Would love to purchase this same exact item as a full zip product as sometimes it is not convenient to wear an anorak type coat, as they can be tricky to pull over the head.

Great for hiking.
I really like that this jacket has a kangaroo pocket. The only thing I wish is that it was a bit longer. I think the insulation is prefect, not too much but just enough. It’s comfortable.

Good quality jacket
This jacket was a lovely color of lavender and I wished it were just slightly longer in the body to cover my bottom when wearing leggings. I wore it outside only one day and it was quite warm for a 35 degree day. Definitely not a winter coat, but great for in between seasons. A little difficult to get in and out of, and I will look for this style in a full zip as all the insulation adds bulk making it more difficult to remove. That being said, I would have kept it if it had been a bit longer in length.

USE CAUTION BEFORE PURCHASE
This jacket is well made and warm; however, as a middle aged woman with thinning hair I noticed when pulling this jacket over my head it sometimes pulls strands out which is not good because I have to put on and pull off this jacket multiple times in a day, AND I am trying to keep as many strands as possible. I tried a larger size to see if I had the same issue, but it just look silly on me. I guess that’s $99.00 down the drain. Or maybe I could learn to love being bald….nah. I’ll buy another jacket from LL Bean and donate this to Goodwill.

Sizing Is A Mystery
I ordered a Large b/c based on fit chart I fell between a 14-16.I have zero curves, no waist to speak of, pretty straight line from chest, waist & hips. So excited when it arrived, b/c it was exactly what I wanted until I tried it on. It was massive. It fell off my shoulders and it looked like a big balloon. Sent it back (in Canada you pay shipping) I then ordered the same jacket but the non-insulated version in a M. It arrived only this time I could barely get it over my head it was so tight. I looked like a little kid in a snowsuit. No question it had to be returned, once again at my expense. I'm looking at jackets here for spring & I don't have the slightest idea what size to order. It's too bad that LL Bean is the only site where I can find exactly what I'm looking for.

Anorak Jacket
It runs big. I usually wear a Petite large in all L.L. Beans clothes, so when I got this in a large petite it was big. I will keep it as I can wear a sweatshirt under it for a perfect cool, wet weather jacket. It is very well made.

I love love love this anorak. My son sent me a gift card and I chose this and a sweater. The reviews suggested it was difficult to remove. I got my regular size, medium. It’s perfectly comfortable, and easy to put on and remove. Long enough to cover the rear. Super good looking. I got the navy. Sharp!!
