Nicer Than Expected
When I saw this fleece jacket in the catalog it seemed a bit pricey. But I examined it at the store and found it was thicker, has a warm fuzzy layer inside, fits well, and seems sturdily constructed. I’ve worn it every day since purchasing.

Just Right Casual
Perfect with sports pants when you are out and about. Warm enough outside but not too warm for indoor meetings in large, drafty spaces. This will become my fall/winter/spring go-to daytime jacket/shirt.

Arms too long
I bought a size small LL Bean sweater fleece Full-zip jacket. I am 5’7” 152 lbs.. Everything fits very well except for the length of the arms. I am not sure if a size XS would have a shorter arm length but this style of jacket doesn’t have that size. I will just have to have it altered to fit my arm length. Other than this issue I am pretty satisfied. I would have given it a 5 stars if not because of this issue.

Sweater fleece full zip
Nice quality jacket that fits great. I wear an XLT and appreciate that LL Bean has tall products for someone with a 37" sleeve length. The fleece on the inside does stick to your other long sleeve shirts. It doesn't go on smoothly over another shirt.

Very Useful Jacket
I bought this for my husband who was admiring mine when I wore it on a recent trip. He loves his new one as well. It’s cozy without being bulky. The full zipper allows the jacket to be used for layering for cool mornings but warmer afternoons.

Comfortable and great fitting fleece
I have 2 of these Full Zip Sweater Fleece. I first bought the Bright Navy color and wore it in place of sweatshirts for most of the year. It is a great looking casual jacket that has a great fit to it - it's all I wanted to wear. I really like the slightly fitted style and hope Bean continues to make slightly fitted tops. The only con is that the fleece fabric does pill a little after washing due to the weave of the fabric (doesn't bother me too much). I'd like to see Bean make another fleece with the same fit only using the traditional fleece (short fuzz) material. I ordered another of these recently in Shadow Green which I also like even though the shadow green material seems a just a little bit thinner than my first Bright Navy jacket purchased about a year prior. On a different note, I would also like to see Bean bring back their former full zip "Cresta Fleece" jacket with the nylon shoulder and sleeve patches and using the traditional fleece material for pill free performance.

This is a standard fleece 🧥 jacket with the bonus that the top layer looks more like cotton or wool. I think 🤔 this makes it also more wind 🌬️ resistant.

Pilling Fleece
I love LL Bean--most of clothes come from here. But this fleece, while it's well designed is made of a fabric that pills--after a few days of wear and one to two washings, it looks ancient--the fabric is all covered in little dots/twists of material pilling off.
