Extremely versatile rod
I've fished large rivers to small streams with this rod and it has always performed very well. The guides are good and the stiff flex is perfect for my casting style. Definitely recommend this rod to anyone and everyone. I also own a 6'6" 3wt Streamlight that I bought years ago (I don't believe LL Bean makes it anymore). It is my go-to rod for small streams and a joy to fish. I wish they would bring it back to the Streamlight series. Great rod a good price
I only purchased because I busted my previous 6wt rod on the first day of a fishing trip and the first store I came to with fly fishing rods in stock happened to be an LL Bean, turns out it was one of the best rod purchases I've made. Light weight, responsive and reasonably priced. Love it
