Robe should be thicker than the pajamas. Colors excellent, since Black Watch tartan may be the first camouflage clothing, designed because the specialty of the Black Watch regiment was night guard duty.

Cheap Flannel
I have been purchasing this flannel robe for decades. I even own a vintage one that belonged to my mother from the 1970s.. I’m sad to report that the flannel this year is extremely thin and cheap. I really love that I can count on L.L. Bean to maintain quality in a changing world. But sadly this robe are proving me wrong.

Way too big even petite
This was a gift and I got a petite. I’m 5’3 and it goes down to almost my ankles. Sleeves are also too long. I get it’s a robe but to your ankle it’s way too long. Petite is off!

Good fit and comfortable robe
I am short 4”10” and order petite extra small. Sleeves a little long but overall best fitting flannel robe I’ve found. I have difficulty finding clothes that fit : sometimes get children size but appreciate finding this adult designed robe.

Scotch Plaid Flannel Robe
The colors are as shown and very pretty. I am 5' and the petite came to the top of my feet but shrunk 3'' in length and 2" in the sleeve in the wash. I returned it for the regular which hit the floor but also shrunk 3" in length but perfect for me to the top of my feet. I weigh 155 and ordered an XL in the regular because the large fit to perfect in the petite (I like the wrap to close more fully). Beware ladies flannel shrinks.

Beware of a breeze!
Based on the description and the reviews, I placed the order as a gift for my wife. Trusting that LL Bean was quality, I expected a well constructed, heavy fleece robe. I can't express how disappointed I was when I opened this one. The fleece is very thin, not the "...warm and cozy" as described. It is not thick, any part of it. It's closer to a kimono than a fleece robe, it weighs less than 1lb. For $100 US dollars, I won't be keeping it.

NOT typical LL Bean quality. Belt is nothing more than a strip of cloth; it folds and rolls. It doesn't lay flat and therefore is very uncomfortable. Began pilling within two hours of wear time.

Material too thin
This flannel robe and pajamas sre so thin that when i hold them to the light you can see right thru it. More like a cheap summer robe. Ll Besn merchandise is so poor quality at the prices they are charging. Will be going out of business if they don't improve their quality. Made quality clothes at one time, now they certainly don't have that reputation. So sad....

The MacRae Flannel Robe is soft and the colors are as pictured very beautiful. I followed the wash instructions with a front loading machine. I sized up because the large fit too good and I like a lot of room plus this--LADIES BEWARE FLANNEL SHRINKS AND THE FIRST ROBE SHRUNK 3 INCHES IN LENGTH AND 2 INCHES IN THE SLEEVE.

Change in flannel
I have had an LLBean flannel robe that has lasted for years. This is not it. The belt loops are hanging loose, the flannel is not the same caliber. The pattern is nice. The price is too high for this product. I am keeping it, because I need a new robe, but am disappointed in Bean for the changes in all their flannel. I have a shirt that is pilling after a season.
