Scotch Plaid Flannel Robe
The MacRae Flannel Robe is soft and the colors are as pictured very beautiful. I followed the wash instructions with a front loading machine. I sized up because the large fit too good and I like a lot of room plus this--LADIES BEWARE FLANNEL SHRINKS AND THE FIRST ROBE SHRUNK 3 INCHES IN LENGTH AND 2 INCHES IN THE SLEEVE.

Change in flannel
I have had an LLBean flannel robe that has lasted for years. This is not it. The belt loops are hanging loose, the flannel is not the same caliber. The pattern is nice. The price is too high for this product. I am keeping it, because I need a new robe, but am disappointed in Bean for the changes in all their flannel. I have a shirt that is pilling after a season.

Where is Quality Assurance
The flannel is not what it used to be. It is thin and doesn’t seem to wash/dry as well as it used to. The quality at LLBean has not been the same nor has the sizing. Very frustrating from a long high standing reliable company. I bought the next size so it would be roomy but oh my goodness it was big!

warm without the weight
Cozy robe, well made. Like the modesty ties and hook loop, too. I am 5'1, size 2X but I ordered the 3X because I like my robes roomy. Hits me at my ankles and plenty of room. The freeport natural was my choice and I love the neutral colors. Color coordinates perfectly with my morning cup of coffee!

Just got this robe and love it. Wanted a matching night shirt, but you don't make one. But I solved the problem by buying a men's XL flannel shirt in the same print. Because I bought it so big, it reaches my knees and is just perfect!

Just the Soft Flannel Robe I was looking for!
I was looking for a lightweight flannel mid-length robe than doesn't look so much like pajamas. This one is prefect. The fabric is soft, the fit is good and it is warm but not too warm. I got it in the navy plaid and love it! I am only 5'1' and the length is perfect.

The flannel is nice and soft and the robe is well made. The length surprised me as it is much longer than other robes I have gotten from LL Bean - but it makes it all the more warmer. I also bought the matching nightgown. These last for years and are a great value.

The flannel on this rob is exactly what I was looking for: not too thin, not too thick. Good fit; I love the ankle length. Sleeves are a little long, but ok because I was wanting the roomy 'over-sized' fit. (I ordered medium, am 5'3, 132 lbs.) The fabric has pilled tho, hence the 4 stars.

I bought a flannel robe year back. Now they are so long for short women I had to hem it. We are talking nearly 5’ around the bottom of the robe. Would have been a smooth hemming job but for the care label.

I read the reviews and should have taken to heart the remarks regarding the flannel. It is truly "very light weight" ... would not be very warm. Not at all what one would think of flannel. If you hold up to the light, it shows right through. Am returning.

Not the quality of flannel I expected.
Flannel was more light weight than other items I had purchased before. The fabric started to pill after the first wash. I had to shorten the sleeve length quite a bit, but other than that the sizing was good.

I just received this robe. I was wanting something really cozy for winter and something that felt lux. The photo makes this robe look like it has some structure to it which made me believe it to be what I was hoping for. Unfortunately, this one fell flat. Immediately out of the package, I held it up and I could easily see through it as the fabric is so thin. I feel as though the price is quite greedy for the quality. Unfortunately it feels cheap and like something I may have bought from Shein. The collar has no structure and it wrinkles easily. I wouldn't recommending this product if you're looking for something of substance. If you want something light for summer, you may like this.

Great bathrobes that don’t last long enough
The LL Bean plaid flannel bathrobe I just bought is probably the 5th one I have purchased. I love them because they are light, warm and soft, which are the main things I look for in a bathrobe. I do not need one that is big, fluffy or absorbs moisture well, as from a shower or bath. My only issue with LL Bean’s plaid, flannel bathrobes is they wear out quickly, more each time after washing them. I stop wearing my older ones after 2 or 3 years because they become rough and scratchy as well as no longer as warm. But I haven’t found another brand that does a better job of it. So until then….
