Would give 6 stars if I could!
These are very cozy and warm. Very well made. They barely shrink - maybe lose 1/2 inch in sleeve and pant leg but then fine. They are almost too warm if the heat is up. They actually feel luxurious, and I plan to get another set.

The arm holes feel tight in terms of pulling when you sleep - usually PJs fit a bit looser. I am a medium in most tops and a large in most bottoms of LL Bean so I sized up to a large for a looser PJ fit - also because 100% cotton shrinks. But the arm holes still feel a bit tight. and the buttons gap a bit if I really move my shoulders around. I have a broad back though but just so you know. Also if you need more room for your blessed chest - size up. Thankfully I did bc the medium top would have been way too small for me in this set. The large top could be more of a loose fit just saying.

Weird fit
. This pajama set had a very weird fit. I always do really well with a petite medium but not with these. The top was too long and looked silly. I even checked to make sure I had the right size. I didn’t particularly love the plaid look either - I looked a little like a bulldozer. Disappointed - and sent them back.

Fit is fine. Flannel is ultra soft, although not as warm as comparable from other sources (e.g. l*nds *nd).
Only issue was after first washing it shed black fuzzies onto fleece-type article in same laundry…assume it’s a one-time problem

Smaller sizing needed please
I was so looking forward to LL Bean's flannel PJs since their flannel sheets are THE BEST. The fabric, plaid, quality, and style did not disappoint, but the size XS is much too large. Even accounting for an oversized fit, the sleeves were inches too long and the waist could not be cinched enough with the drawstring without bunching uncomfortably. I am 5'4" female, 101 pounds, and fit. Please offer your plaid PJs in an XXS or in kids sizes. I do still highly recommend these PJs if the size is right for you.

I bought matching PJs for me and my wife recently, and while the men's pair haven't held up well, the women's seem fine so far. And I'm afraid to say that's all they seem -- just fine. The flannel is thin and wrinkles immediately and doesn't instill a lot of confidence about the lifespan of the garment.

Be prepared for significant shrinkage.
These were a gift for my daughter and she was so excited they came in the tall size. Loved how long they were but they shrunk significantly with the first wash even though washed in cold and dried on low. The sleeves are now way too short, and pants lost a lot of length as well. So now she’s pretty disappointed in them. They would have been great if they hadn’t shrunk so much, and in the very first wash

I need to do a second review. About those horrible scratchy tags that irritate even if you cut them off, have you noticed that just about every other company now prints the info on the fabric instead? Looking through the reviews, I noticed Irma from Washington state said the same thing. I also noticed that Skeena Suz from Chicago says the top is smaller than the bottoms. So that confirms my complaint. Your PJ's are expensive but the quality does not match the price.

Loved - but doesn't hold up
I loved these pajamas when I first got them. The pants were high waisted, deep pockets, long enough to cover my ankles. The shirt was fine - a bit tight in the shoulder area, but it worked. Well after only a year of wearing them in the colder season, I'm already sewing repairs. The flannel gets thin in spots and tears. Disappointing quality from L.L. Bean, but I'll still keep wearing them.

Perfect fit! Feels soft.
My wife loved the excellent quality, fit and, how soft her LL Bean Scotch Plaid Flannel PJ's are. Have not had a chance to see how well they stand up after washing on 'gentle' cycle. We pla to buy more.

I love my new pajamas!
I am very pleased that LL Bean offers women's pajamas in a tall size. The plaid material is high quality and warm. And it washed nicely - got soft and fluffy. The material in this pattern matches other LL Bean items. I bought a thick furry fleece lined flannel shirt jacket in this pattern 2 years ago and it matches my new pajamas. Nice to slip the jacket on over the pajamas when I am up in the mornings getting coffee.

I bought these in the rob roy pattern. They are so soft and warm. They fit true to size. I love the black watch pattern but they are sold out in my size. Please bring back next year as well as white Stewart and red Stewart plaids.
