Sturdy slip-ons with good traction.
Comfortable and fit to size. A bit on the heavy bulky side but I like the arctic grip. These should be great for my winter walks in Montana.

Great shoes
This is my second purchase of these shoes. Absolutely love them and wear them three seasons in my yard. Gardening , mowing, stacking wood. Great in the snow, wet grass and slippery surfaces.

These are year round Slip-On boots for dewy grass in the spring or light amount of snow in Wisconsin winter .Great treads for trekking around . Very Wellmade from top to bottom. Highly recommend.

Arctic grip women’s slip on shoe/ boot
A little tough yo put on, need to use the loop in the back, comes off much easier. These are heavier than I expected, but are good for muddy gardening.

Great Boot!
Great boot and pretty warm! I was between size 8 and 8.5 and ordered both. Ended up going with the 8 which is my usual boot size. 8.5 was too much heel slip. Eventually you won't need a shoe horn to put them on as they do loosen up a little and are pretty comfortable. I have not noticed any issues with wearing them indoors. They are my winter go-to boot!

Quality is great but it was a struggle to get my foot in. Once it was in it was comfortable .. I returned it knowing I would never use it because of how hard it was .. to bad they were nice!

Storm chaser chases away any doubts of a bad shoe!
Back grip is great for helping to get on quickly, especially when they are new and a little stiff. Sole traction is super and there is no way any wetness is getting inside the shoe!

Great boot/shoe
I really love these boots. I was initially worried about the fit, size 6, but they fit perfectly and are very well constructed. They are comfortable, and the inner sole is removable if needed. There is a lot of rain where I live and will get a ton of use out of these for work as well as an everyday outside shoe. Some have complained that they are hard to get on, this is not a slip on type shoe. You do have to gently push your foot into it, but once on they are not slipping, they fit snugly like a good boot should, but not tight. They keep water and mud out and are warm. Great for gardening also.

Very happy with these shoes!
Great wet weather shoes. I love that they're slip on. Saves so much time not having to lace up shoes several times each day. Good fit, good support for a slip on shoe, somewhat warm, nice-looking and waterproof bottoms, so I feel secure walking through muddy places and puddles. And the Vibram arctic grip soles add more security when walking in winter weather. I'm very glad I bought these. Thanks for making them, LL Bean. Great shoes.

Warm and waterproof. Get the suggested size.
These were a little snug. I bought a pair of these about four years ago and ordered a half size larger than I wear because I planned to wear heavy wool socks with them. These were really big so this time I ordered my regular size even though the website suggested ordering a half size larger. Well they are still a little hard to get on with thick socks. They are warm and waterproof and they are fine once I get them on.

I love these shoes! I bought them so that I would have a supportive shoe for going for walks in the snow. These are perfect!! They're light weight, very comfortable and they support my feet and grip the ground in the snow. I don't feel like I'm going to slip and slide on snowy, slippery ground.

Extremely difficult to put on
I got the right size and once on they fit. HOWEVER, they are very hard to pull on. I fell over and injured myself, INSIDE bruises to my side, arm, leg, while trying to pull on shoes to protect myself from falling outside.
Definitely do not recommend.

I was disappointed as I was expecting this pair of Storm Chaser Slip-Ons to be of the same quality and comfort as the pair I bought many years ago. One of the insoles did not fit correctly - it was too long and curled at the toe so I replaced the insoles with another pair. As mentioned in several reviews, the opening is small. I have a narrow foot so it is not a problem for me. Despite the imperfections, I do not regret my purchase.

Great Shoe!
this is my 3rd pair of storm chasers. I wear them all winter log to walk my dog and to navigate my way through icy areas while I do so. They are well made and insulated. My feet are never cold and I don't worry that I will slip and fall. True that the shoe is a little hard to slip on, but that keeps it securely on my foot and protects it from the elements and my feet stay comfy and dry. I wish it was a little wider for my feet however.

Can’t get this boot on my foot
Like all the other reviewers, I couldn’t slip this onto my foot. I managed to wrestle it on instead with the hope it might ease and break in over time. But, once on, the overall fit is ridiculously small also. I normally wear size 6.5 or 7. I ordered the 7. It’s comically small. Returning and not reordering.

Just right!
I can't wear higher boots without hurting my ankles. These kept my feet dry and warm while shoveling snow, and were so comfortable that I forgot about them. Usually wear an 8 1/2 to 9. These are 9, worn with medium weight socks. Thank you

Grippy not slippy
These are some grippy shoes - excellent tread on snow, ice, and mud! The uppers are stiff (a good thing in a slip-on shoe with great tread), but they are becoming more flexible with wear and easier to put on.

Great winter option but gave me heel blisters
Slightly hard to get on (as a slip on often is), but warm, good traction and good arch support. The toe box is roomy, which I like. The lining in my first pair seemed improperly sewn as a "lump" in the heel gave me a serious blister pretty quickly. The replacement pair had the same issue (both the left shoe) so not sure if an unlucky coincidence or a feature of the shoe. I'm getting discouraged with Bean's footwear as construction quality seems vary so much.

Perfect shoe for wet or cold weather
Exactly what I was looking for. I can step into them when my hands are full and be out the door quickly. They're warm and comfortable and protect my feet in mud, icy slush, and a few inches of snow. No slipping on ice! I like mine so much that my husband bought the men's version.
