Nice Material! Really big though...
Really wish this would have fit. Material is very nice. But small is way too big for me. The fit is very sloppy around the waist. It would be okay on top...so ordered an extra small would probably be a little tight on top but fit the middle. Just not for my body type.

Not Crazy about the Color
Love these t-shirts. Not crazy about this Muted Plum color. Please bring back the Royal Plum color. A dark boysenberry color would be nice as well. The Black color is nice.

The best
I've been buying this tee shirt for many years, well over a decade, and it's perfect. Very soft, neither too loose nor too clingy and washes well. The V neck is neither too revealing nor not enough of a V (just right). I've started to be more careful about drying because they're pricey and shrink a little. I take them out of the dryer when almost but not fully dry. The shirt will last years, however, with only slight fading and shrinking. I'm 5'1.5" and weight ~115; I wear a petite small in this shirt. The petite XS also fits, but the S doesn't look large and it lasts longer (room to shrink).

Nice soft tee
I purchased this top to wear with linen shorts. It is soft and the length is great as I have a long torso, not too short. The vee neckline is not too low. Washed in cool water and hung to dry. There was no shrinkage.

Not for Long Torso
This top, while the fabric was beautifully smooth and a good weight, seemed to shrink a bit in the length after I washed on cold and tumble dried on low. I have a long torso, so it really became apparent it was short on me. I wear it around the house now.

Color and Size are Good
Nice soft fabric, I got Large because I didn't want it close-fitting, hangs just right. It's not as cool to wear as regular 100% cotton so not for a very hot sticky day. I like the pale orange-y color, can pair with many scarves or a short sleeve loose shirt.

Longer than expected.
Still LLBean’s reliable quality. The only negative for me is that the top was much longer than expected.
It was a petite top but the length was as long as a regular length shirt. I kept it because it was a nice fabric and the color was pretty.

My new "uniform"
I bought five of these shirts (five different colors) and I love them! My typical summer wardrobe is shorts and a t-shirt and I've found my new t-shirt. The weight is just right - not so heavy to be too hot in the heat, and not so thin that I have to wear a t-shirt bra underneath. These are replacing many shirts from another online retailer that have become too thin over the years.

Tag is a problem
Beautiful shirt but the tag inside the left side seam is a serious drawback. Not easy/possible to remove it completely so you have to choose between the intact tag, which scratches incessantly, or a tag nubbin which may or may not irritate.

Inconsistent fit
I bought 2 tees. Exact same size. XL petite. One was tighter than the other! There's such a lack of consistency in LLBean clothing. Also the petite size is not petite. Definitely more like a regular length. Very disappointed. Even though I really like the tees, I can't order again.

Very nice v neck tee
I bought this at a consignment shop on a bus trip last week. I really like the fit, and it seems that it would hold up better than so many of my other tees, that never look the same after 1 wash. I have a few nice ones in Pima and modal cotton. This just doesn’t feel like 100% Pima. It feels like some polyester content, but I like it and will probably order more colors if it holds up well after washing.

If you’re looking for quality, buy these shirts
I have been buying the Pima T-shirts from L.L. Bean for the past several years because of their longevity. I have not had problems with colors fading, or the material pilling, which seems to be a problem with other T-shirts. They do cost more than a lot of places, but the trade-off is a good quality, long lasting item of clothing. I am 5’3” and the biggest problem I find with buying clothes is that most items are made for taller people or those who like to wear long shirts over leggings. The longer shirts don’t look good on a lot of shorter people, and I prefer mine to be at or just below my waist. The shirts I purchased this year are definitely longer, but I washed them and put them in a dryer on high heat which did shrink them a tiny bit. I also prefer V-neck T-shirts, which can be difficult to find, but I’ve had no trouble with L.L. Bean items. I would recommend investing in these T-shirts.
