Keeps me warm in 20 degree weather!
Outstanding warmth when coupled with their outer mitten companions. I can easily hike in 20 degree weather with these mittens ( along with their outers) and my fingers and hands stay warm and functional . Nothing beats wool for warmth!

Warm but too tight in the wrist
These are warm and the inside is soft and not itchy, but they are waaay to tight in the wrist. I do not have large wrists, but they start to hurt after a few minutes due to being constricted. I’m trying to stretch them out by soaking in water and placing over a large cylindrical item to dry. Hopefully this will help.

They fit!!
These were a gift for my husband who has large hands. I was so happy they fit--his fingertips reached to top. He assured me they were perfect. He uses his choppers mostly for snowblowing/winter cleanup.

Chopper liners
Liners wear out too fast. LL Bean's contractor needs heavier wool.

The best liners
The replacement liners are nice and warm the only downside is that they fit so well at the wrist that when removing your mitts the liners want to stay on your hands.

Not as good as the originals.
The manufacturer has made these tighter at the wrist, thinner yarn then was used before. I expect better from Bean's. Not sure who the buyer is, but someone is allowing quality to drop.

High quality
Replaces a pair I bought elsewhere to replace previous Beans. Bought based on need and convenience. Bad decision. They were thinner and lower quality. They didn’t keep my hands warm. They’re gone and I’m very happy with these. My only suggestion is that the ragg wool be a little more dense, if that would make them even warmer.

Mittens
These were lighter in weight than I thought but I can use them as a base layer with mitten shells to keep my hands warm on colder days

Nice warm wool mittens
These were well made but I think they are for men as the size small was huge.

Great for Cool Weather Wear
Nice mitten liners. I use them with the Waxed Cotton Chopper Mittens (Item #PF513811). This combination keeps my hands nice & warm, even on those cold, wet/snowy, Upstate New York, winter nights. Being cotton, the liners themselves are soft and non-irritating, so they’re not water or wind resistant. They’re great to have in your backpack, for when night air turns cold.
My hand measures 8” around, measuring around the knuckles and palm, so the mediums fit great. And, there’s even enough room to allow me to slip in a small hand-warmer.

Best mitten liner for skiing
I wear them inside my ski mittens. I can't ski without them, they keep my fingers much warmer. I ski over 100 days per year. Must buy large enough mittens to fit these inside.

Spare Set
I purchased the mitten liners for the chopper mitts I bought. I am a female and bought a size small in both replacement liner and chopper mitts. I have long, slender fingers and the small fits great with a little room for air circulation to keep warm. The liners are soft and not itchy, and both the liners and mittens are warm. Great to have a replacement on hand.

Good price and great fit.
Great fit. I use with a polypropylene under-glove. If very cold, I wear a leather mitten over the wool.

Can't recommend them
I use these liners with my chopper mitts for snowblowing only. They're expensive and hopefully they last longer than the last pair did which developed a hole after a few years of very light use. Even with 2 layers I still need to add hot hands to each mitt and my hands get very cold. A much better idea would be heated handles on the snowblower. Honestly I cannot recommend these liners or the mitts either

Can't miss.
Needed new liners for my choppers. Fit well and warm! Mitten liners are much better than gloves for choppers when you need to keep your fingers warm on cold (less than 10 degree) days.
