Stylish and Safe
I bought this jacket a few weeks ago. It fits well. It is good for cool autumn days. I discovered a small breast pocket on the inside that is perfect for the conceal carry of my SIG Sauer P-365 compact pistol, but not big enough for my Smith & Wesson .357 Magnum (but it does conceal the shoulder holster when I require more fire power).

Versatile, Multi-season Jacket
Been waiting for a replacement for my 40 year old 3 Season jacket in a bright color to be more visible when walking. The new 3 Season jacket had no bright colors & a skimpy collar, so I looked at the flannel lined Warm Up jacket in red. Runs full, fit my 5’11”, 160lbs, 40 inch chest, 32 inch waist in a size small. At 1st I thought collar was too tall but is like having a warm gaiter when zipped up or looking like Elvis when unzipped.

Perfect alternative to fleece lined warm-up jacket
I was excited when I discovered this lighter weight version of the fleece lined warm-up jacket. Warmer than a wind breaker but lighter than the fleece lined version. It is exactly as described in the product description and perfect for cool fall & spring weather. It's roomy enough for added layers underneath without feeling uncomfortable. I would not wear this for winter weather, but that's what my fleece lined warm-up jackets are for. I love this jacket.

Lack of quality from L.L.Bean
Extremely disappointed with the jacket. I bought it under the assumption is was a three season jacket but it turn out to more a summer item. It is so light weight and the so called flannel lining is just a description as it is NOT flannel at all. Totally disappointed coming from L.L. Bean. Needless to say, I will not be buying anything from you again!

This jacket is very thin and will not likely keep you warm. The flannel lining is very thin - about the same weight as a flannel shirt. There is no 3M thinsulate in the sleeves. I have 2 fleece lined warm-up jackets which I wear most of the winter in Toronto and they are quite warm.
This version of "warm-up" jacket is a misnomer and may only be adequate for Spring or Fall.
Other wise, it's a nice looking/fitting jacket.

Mild weather comfort!
I bought this in blue. Same style as the fleece lined jackets I bought, but the flannel lining makes this thinner and a more comfortable wear for warmer weather, like a windbreaker. As such, it’s more versatile overall. It still has the same high quality craftsmanship, comfort, fit, and style as you would expect from an LL Bean product. I highly recommend!

A GREAT FIND! JUST WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR
The XXL arrived larger than I expected from reading product reviews posted prior to my purchase, which is why after thinking about it for a while, I ordered the XXXL the next day. Both purchases arrived a day apart, as stated when I ordered, so I was able to do a size comparison by trying on both of them. The XXL was perfect, so I returned the XXXL the next day for a refund. Additionally, I was glad that I selected the Tall and happy that L.L. Bean offered this jacket in Regular and Tall because I have long arms, and the longer sleeve length is perfect for me.
This jacket fits me well and it appears to be of solid construction and quality, exactly what I've come to expect from L.L. Bean. I love the deep zippered front pockets on each side, which should accommodate my everyday items for easy accessibility. Lastly, I selected this jacket because of its color, style, contrast lining, it's lightweight, offers sufficient warmth, and it's waterproof, which will work out great as I travel back to OH and WV this Fall where rainy days are likely and expected this time of year.

Love the elastic cuffs. No awkward Velcro to deal with.
Has just enough heft to let you know you have some warmth to go with the wind breaking
function but not so much to make it excessively warm.

Hubby loves this jacket.
I had this jacket on backorder from Christmas. I came in in late Spring. We were still having cooler days and hubby got much wear out of it before the temps warmed. I got him the blue; he loves it and was happy for it when I gave him his late Christmas present. I personally wish the collar stood up more though. The plaid collar laying flat looks a bit hokey to me, but the plaid lining is soft and comfortable.
