Very good jacket
Good jacket for fall and spring. Liked rain repellent feature. Inner pocket could be a little bigger. A;so wished it had a fold up hood.Maybe a little small for a large. I’m 5 10 and 195.

Good jackets
Good jacket. I have both the flannel lined and fleece lined, and the fleece lined is warmer. On the flannel, extending the patterned lining to the collar looks a little too mod for me. Won't keep me from wearing it, but I I think it looks strange.

Might work for someone else, but not for me.
I was very disappointed when the jackets arrived. The weight and fabric were lighter than I expected. You certainly have to wear a sweater under this jacket. I was NOT for me.

Perfect summer jacket
Love it. Great fit. I have been looking for this kind of jacket for 2 or 3 years. This is exactly what I wanted. Light weight, rain resistant, perfect for those cool days and cloudy summer days in northern Minnesota.

The right jacket
This jacket is exactly what was missing in my outerware wardrobe. I appreciate that there is no flannel lining to make it difficult to put on over a long sleeve shirt. I get many complments for my red jacket.

Love my new jacket
I wanted a lightweight spring/fall jacket. This fit the bill perfectly. The fit, finish, and style are perfect true to sizing chart.

A good warm weather jacket.
This jacket is good form temps of 50 to 70 degrees. Below that and you would have to add a layer. At 70 degrees the coat starts to feel too warm. Seems well constructed and seems to shed water. Light in weight which is good for packing. The collar folds down a little too much, but that could probably be adjusted with a warm iron.

Not in keeping with Brand's Reputation
The jacket arrived yesterday. Gave it away today. Flannel is thin cloth that you could not make into a flannel shirt. Fit is small. Zippers looked questionable. Wanted a comfortable Iight weight jacket. What arrived was a tight, thin, wind-breaker that did not look like a ll bean product. Very disappointed.

Great Jacket for Spring. Surprisingly Warm
This is a really good jacket. It is great for spring and does great with layering. I love the cuffs. It feels really good. It looks nice on me so I guess you get a few stars for that

New warm up jacket
I like the jacket but it is not as warm as my old LL Bean warm up jacket was the lining is thinner and the inside breast pocket is not as deep as the one in my old jacket.

Excellent warm-up flannel lined jacket
For some reason this jacket receives some mixed reviews. It's EXCELLENT and just what I expected.
I bought it to replace an old Bugatti jacket that is no longer made (and cost $450).
This jacket fits well, the fabric is fine considering the price, and the lining makes it easy to slide on and off. It's perfect for 3-season weather, and smart enough to wear anywhere. I like the stand-up collar, which can be turned down, though the plaid looks a little out of place.
The lining is cheap, definitely not flannel, but it does the job perfectly.
Above all, my wife likes it.
Is it worth the money? Definitely.
Is it the best jacket I've ever owned? No, but it costs less than $450.

Review of “flannel lined jacket”.
Disappointed with the quality of this jacket. The flannel lining was very light and did not include the sleeves.

Poor replacement
Bought this warm-up jacket to replace one I've had for 15 years. NO comparison. This new one is half the weight of the original. The flannel lining is super thin. This is marginally a 3 season jacket. Metal zipper is now plastic. When compared to the old style, the drop in quality is disappointing.
Will most likely be returning.

Comfortable, bright red jacket
I bought this jacket for my husband in red so he would have something brightly colored on when he takes our dogs out for walks in our gloomy, wet weather. It’s a good weight for our temperate winter weather and fits him well. The flannel lining is synthetic instead of cotton so that’s disappointing.

Decent - Not expected
Just not what was expected. Material much louder than expected. Much lighter/less warm than expected. Far less cozy (for a light-medium jacket) than expected. Surprisingly bulky in arms for low warmth and mobility. Maybe good for someone else in different weather, but not for me. And definitely too tailored on the fit. Thinner than it’s fleece sibling.

“Flannel” is not flannel
This garment should be called flannel-look. It is not flannel. It is very thin compared to the fleece lined jacket at the same price. Not worth it. One additional star because the fit was ok.

Excellent Jacket
This jacket is a light weight jacket that is warm and waterproof. It comes in a great selection of colors. The inside lining is made with light weight material that I believe will hold up over time. I would highly recommend it.

Nice lighter weight jacket
Nicely made. Bought the blue jacket for my father for Christmas. A little disappointed that it was not heavier. It’s good for fall or early spring in Vermont, but not for winter.

Cheap feeling
Plastic-like shell and extremely thin "flannel" liner. Not worth the money charged and not up to LLBean quality

Men's flannel lined warm-up jacket
The flannel lined warm-up jacket is true to size, well made, and has ample pockets. The outer shell is stiffer and the flannel lining/insulation seems thinner than my old fleece lined LL Bean from about 10 years ago but perhaps the current fleece lined version is warmer. I would buy this jacket again.
