Cute but looked terrible on! They could have a little more structure to them, but I get that they are supposed to be lightweight. I am relatively curvy I suppose and they just made me look huge.

A Summertime Wardrobe Staple
I have a collection of these shorts in both denim shades. They are made of 100% cotton that is both soft and lightweight for comfort on hot days. The leg length is perfect- not too long and dowdy, nor too short and revealing. The legs are loose enough to allow good air flow without looking like a skort. The pockets are sufficiently deep. The elastic waistband is narrow and does its job without feeling constricting. These are the shorts I pull most often from my closet- can't say enough good things about them!

Serve the purpose
These shorts serve my purpose. I wanted something I could throw on fast that fit loose and comfortably and were lightweight for our Texas summer heat--and they had to have 4 pockets! They had to look decent enough that I could wear them to the grocery store. I'm 5'2" and weigh 120 lbs, but I bought a size M because I wanted them loose. I agree with some other folks that it would be nice if the waistband were wider. Also, the back pockets are too loose--I worried about my wallet and car keys. So I cinched up the outer patches with safety pins.
