Great Fun!
I'm by no means a Bocce pro. I just love a good yard game. The balls are decent quality. They show some signs of wear from banging together during play, but that's to be expected. The well-made bag makes transporting and storing the heavy set of balls a breeze. The built-in dividers with the clever center cutout for the pallino keep the balls stacked neatly inside. The padded handle is great as the set is quite heavy.

We purchased this as a Father's Day gift for my husband. We are no bocce experts but the set seems nice. We have played in the yard with neighbors. The bag is nice but may not hold up for travel. Monogramming added a nice touch and was free!
It came much sooner than the estimated 2 weeks. I did not do any comparison shopping as I had LL bean money to spend.

The weight of a bowling ball, the set of Bocce balls in a compact bag is perfect for home closet storage. 8 balls and the little target ball fit snugly together in a zipper bag that should hold up well under home use conditions. Not heavy duty enough if the set were taken on trips regularly, but certainly A1 for general home use. We played this weekend and the balls are of superior quality. Nice green and red colored sets. We look forward to using them for years to come.

Good quality set. I do agree with others though that the carrying case could be stronger/better quality. Would be great if the could use LLBean's famous "boat and tote" material. It would make their product unique and much more attractive. Product arrived promptly. Free monograming (with llbean visa) is a nice plus.
