Just not the same.
On first impression, what strikes me is the difference between these jeans (72% cotton, 28% synthetics) and the 1912 jeans (99% cotton) I'm used to. The 1912 has a more relaxed fit, probably attributable to the fabric difference.

Unreliable sizing
Look, i bought 4 pairs in different colors but all same sizes. Of the four - two fit perfectly. one was a bit tight in the waist and the other was overlong in the leg by an inch. LLB, your QA isn't doing its' job. JMHO.

My 2nd Pair
This is my 2nd pair of flex jeans. I liked the 1st enough to order them again in a different color. I love how they stretch, and the fit is just right. Only time will tell how well they wear, and to what extent they fade. My only suggestion would be making the inseam available in odd sizes, e.g., 33 inches. The 34 in. is a little long on me, but 32 in. would be too short.

great jeans except...
I have been wearing LL Bean jeans for years. They fit me great and wear well. I have 3 pairs of the "Bean Flex" Jeans and they are very comfortable except the zipper isn't long enough. This means when "nature calls" it is hard to get everything in position. For this reason I cannot give five stars.

Perfect for me.
After trying several sizes and styles at the store they didn’t have mine so I ordered what turned out yo be the perfect new jeans gor me. Having lost a considerable amount of weight my sizing is off. These have a little stretch and a shorter ruse than others. I was able to size down but still be comfortable. Getting this request to review reminded me i wanted to order an additional pair if they git well.

These are wimpy jeans
Bought a pair in Feb 2025. Had to throw them out 6 months later. They wear & rip easily... they just are not tough enough to be real jeans. LL Bean 1912 jeans are great, and wear well. I like most all LL Bean clothing a lot, but these are just too wimpy.
