The Borderfree solution allows us to serve the best possible shopping experience to our international customers, so you can always buy from us with certainty.
Just add items to your shopping bag and click continue to check out. Borderfree calculates and displays the order total in your preferred currency, including all shipping costs from our warehouse in the United States to your selected international destination, as well as any applicable duties and taxes imposed by the customs and revenue authorities in the destination country.
The order total presented at checkout is the exact amount you’ll be billed by Borderfree, and there will be no additional costs due upon delivery.
Currently, Borderfree supports Visa, MasterCard, PayPal and American Express with additional payment options coming soon.
This 'shipping information' is a summary of delivery promises for our orders. You will be quoted a specific delivery promise at the time of checkout that is based on your selected destination and the shipping methods available for the items in your shopping bag.
Shipping is calculated based on a number of factors including the desired shipping speed, the number of items you are purchasing, the weight of the items, and the destination. Shipping will be calculated and guaranteed during the Borderfree checkout based on the items you are purchasing and your shipping destination.
Your credit card will be billed by Borderfree at the time your items leave the United States.
If for some reason there are any items that cannot be exported from the United States or imported into your destination country selection, Borderfree will notify you during the checkout process.
Orders shipping to US military addresses should go through our domestic checkout (www.llbean.com), as they are not subject to the same costs and logistics flows as our other international orders. To do this, you should shop as if shipping to an address within the United States.

Your credit card will be billed by Borderfree and your credit card statement will read "BF L.L.Bean" where “BF” denotes the Borderfree network.

Unfortunately, we do not currently support the sale of L.L.Bean gift cards to international customers or the redemption of L.L.Bean gift cards for internationally-shipped orders.
If for any reason you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you may return it within one year of purchase for a refund. After one year, we will consider any items for return that are defective due to materials or craftsmanship. Please contact us at email@example.com or 800-349-9130 available 7 a.m to 11 p.m. (ET), 7 days a week, 365 days a year, and we will provide you with further instructions on where returns should be shipped and the amount you will be refunded. Refund amounts for returned items will be credited to you by our partner Borderfree in the same currency as your original order.
Unfortunately, we do not currently support the service of monogramming for internationally-shipped orders.
